LifeStance Health is looking to improve access to trusted, affordable, and personalized mental healthcare by integrating mental and physical healthcare. They aim to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by expanding their clinical team to meet the growing demand for behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Licensed therapist (i.e., social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health clinician, licensed professional counselor) skilled in the delivery of evidence-based interventions.
- Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for the primary care setting including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with patients across the lifespan (ages 12+).
- Ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicate these findings efficiently to other members of the care team.
- Skilled in developing and implementing treatment plans that address the needs of the patient.
- Ability to assess and manage common behavioral health concerns that present in primary care (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD), as well as assist patients in coping with and managing chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes).
- Comfort with utilizing psychological screening measures to assess the efficacy of their treatment plan and drive symptom improvement.
- Proficiency working within electronic health record systems
Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and communicate these findings efficiently to other members of the care team.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that address the needs of the patient.
- Assessing and managing common behavioral health concerns that present in primary care (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD), as well as assist patients in coping with and managing chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes).
- Utilizing psychological screening measures to assess the efficacy of their treatment plan and drive symptom improvement.
- Navigating an electronic health record as well as a registry platform to track symptom improvement.
- Documenting in a clear, concise, timely manner.
Other
- License to practice in Illinois required. License to practice in Missouri preferred.
- Ability to see ages 12+
- Experience in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary care setting required, integrated care or primary care settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
