General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. is looking for an Integration and Test Intern Engineer to support their core mission by collaborating on technical projects, enhancing skills, and contributing to high-stakes defense projects.

- Clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
Responsibilities
- Participates in requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design (of test setups/approaches), integration and verification of test equipment/setups.
- Develops Test Cases, Test Procedures, Test Scripts, and associated test documentation (plans and reports) for formal test and verification activities.
- Supports setup up test infrastructures and environments for performing various testing.
- Supports activities related to acquiring and setting up the test assets including identifying Bill of Materials (BOMs), working with material planners to procure materials/cables/equipment, working with Manufacturing/Operations to build, checkout, and setup the test assets and equipment.
- Generally, works within the Systems Engineering Integration and Test group, but has some contact with other engineering groups.
- Generally, has some contact with project leaders to provide status or discuss technical issues.
- Generally, works on problems of medium complexity and scope under supervision from a Lead team member.
Other
- Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
