Trimble is seeking to establish a vibrant developer community and ensure high-quality Connected Solutions within its ecosystem and Marketplace, similar to platforms like Procore and Autodesk. This role will empower third-party sellers and create a thriving ecosystem for buyers by providing technical guidance and certification.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of previous experience in a role such as Solutions Consultant, Technical Project Manager, Developer Advocate, or a similar role focused on API integrations and developer support.
  • Proven track record of successfully guiding developers through complex integration processes.
  • Experience with end-to-end technical lifecycle management, from concept to deployment and iteration of integrations.
  • Proficiency in defining technical requirements and creating detailed integration specifications.
  • Ability to gather and analyze technical user feedback, translating it into actionable insights for the development team.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of API design and integration strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technical end-to-end user engagement model for third-party developers, including sandbox deployment, and the app review and certification process for Connected Solutions.
  • Engage with Trimble, the Trimble user base, developers, and partners to understand their technical needs and ensure solutions deliver exceptional value.
  • Review and certify third-party solutions for technical quality, security, and adherence to Trimble's solutions guidelines.
  • Create clear and concise technical documentation, guides, and best practices for developers.
  • Communicate technical insights and integration progress to stakeholders, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable technical solutions.
  • High level of comfort with technology and its development.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop effective technical messaging and go-to-market strategies for integrations.
  • A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments.
