Steampunk is looking to solve the problem of connecting data, services, and systems to help their customers achieve their mission by developing APIs and integration capabilities.
Requirements
- 6 Years of Experience with AWS
- 6 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- 6 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
- 6 Years of Experience with one or more integration technologies
- Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate
- Experience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes
- Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI
Responsibilities
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
- Develop APIs and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
- Perform API/web service discovery and analysis
- Make recommendations, design, and implement a common enterprise API platform.
