Boeing is looking for an Integration & Test Software Engineering Manager to manage a team responsible for software integration, test, and verification activities of the mission systems software used on the E-7A Wedgetail.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software integration and test engineering
- 2+ years of delivering qualified production software
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering activities
- Experience with software architecture and software implementation
- 5+ years of integrating embedded software with aerospace systems
- 5+ years of scripting and test automation
- 3+ years of experience developing software
Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering and test
- Develops and executes project and test plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- responsible for software integration, test, and verification activities of the mission systems software used on the E-7A Wedgetail
- responsible for the program’s software test plan, software deployment to various test labs, and production aircraft

- Able to travel 10% of the time
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disparate engineering teams
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute test campaigns on complex systems
