Requirements

  • Proficient with Revit, SketchUp, 3D, Enscape, and other modeling software programs, such as Rhino, Grasshopper and/or Dynamo
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign a must)
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
  • NCIDQ certified
  • LEED AP is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
  • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
  • Generate floor plans, finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
  • Responsible for Construction Documentation and Construction Administration, supporting the delivery of the project design intent
  • Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in varying phases of project delivery
  • Manage external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university
  • 3-7 years of commercial interior design experience – ideally for Workplace, Hospitality or Mixed Use projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices
  • Please include a portfolio (ideally showcasing your experience with the aforementioned project types) along with your resume
  • Must be able to work on-site in our Minneapolis office 5 days a week
