TSC is seeking motivated Electrical or Computer Engineering interns to assist in the development of innovative spacecraft electronics for their customer, the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.
Requirements
- Experience with analog, digital, or RF circuit design and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with electrical circuits and schematics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or C-Sharp.
- FPGA software development experience.
- Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and bare-metal microcontroller design using C and C++.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the research and selection of electronic components for spacecraft electronics, developing knowledge of the unique requirements for high-reliability, radiation tolerant components in a variety of orbital space environments.
- Supporting the development, testing, debugging, and integration of embedded hardware and software systems.
- Collaborating with government engineers and vendors to ensure product performance meets mission requirements, space environmental requirements, failure tolerance and extreme high reliability.
Other
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical internship experience in electrical or computer engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
- Employment at TSC is contingent upon passing a background check, security investigation, and drug screening.
