Terracon is looking to solve engineering and technical challenges by hiring individuals to conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, bedrock and other construction materials, and assist geotechnical engineers, geologists, and project managers with data collection, research, analysis, and report preparation.
Requirements
- High school diploma and BS or MS degree in progress in a related field (civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering; geology)
- less than one year remaining to complete their degree
Responsibilities
- conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, bedrock and other construction materials
- assist geotechnical engineers, geologists, and project managers with data collection
- assist geotechnical engineers, geologists, and project managers with research
- assist geotechnical engineers, geologists, and project managers with analysis
- assist geotechnical engineers, geologists, and project managers with report preparation
- Performs sampling or testing as directed
- Provides assistance to other field and/or laboratory personnel
