Navigant Credit Union is looking to improve the financial well-being of the families, businesses, and communities they serve by optimizing their loan deficiency and collection practices.
Requirements
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Other BI applications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and organizes charged off loan files with deficiency balances for potential placements.
- Compiles approved files and appropriate paperwork to forward to attorneys.
- Responds to inquiries from collection agencies and attorney firms and escalates complex matters to other team members.
- Documents the collection system with updates on active files.
- Creates and maintains Excel spreadsheets on eligible loan placements.
- Assists the department in other collection related activities as assigned by the Asset Management team members, Asset Management Supervisor or VP, Asset Management.
Other
- High School or GED equivalent required.
- A candidate for a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or other related major preferred.
- Must be proficient in multitasking, organization, attention to detail and problem solving.
- Must be able to focus in an open department setting.
- Must have good telephone, oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills in order to effectively perform job responsibilities.
- Must have strong service orientation in alignment with the Credit Union's mission and core values.
- Must have the ability to lift file boxes up to 25lbs.
