The Lab Technician Intern will assist with basic maintenance, equipment operation, data collection, and quality control activities to gain foundational experience in technical problem-solving and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Assist with routine maintenance, simple repairs, and setup of equipment and systems under supervision
- Support production and lab activities by preparing tools, equipment, and workstations
- Observe and assist with identifying technical issues; escalate more complex problems to senior staff
- Assist with product inspections and quality checks using established procedures
- Help conduct basic manufacturing acceptance tests and record results
- Collect and accurately document performance data, test results, and observations as instructed
- Safely operate basic laboratory or production tools and instruments following provided training

Other
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong interest in hands-on-technical work and manufacturing environments
- Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
- Previous lab or technical experience (academic or internship) is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds over the head
- Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion
