Requirements
- Solid understanding of Python for building server-side applications, scripts, and automation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code for handling business logic and data processing.
- Basic familiarity with Linux command line, file system navigation, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Flask, Django, or similar Python-based frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume or build them.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deploying or managing services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop server-side features and APIs.
- Build and maintain backend services using Python and Django framework.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and performance optimization of backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application architecture and scalability.

- Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program.
- Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026.
- This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US.
- US Work Authorization required for this role.
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
