ArcBest is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to complete descriptive analytical reports and dashboards to drive business decisions and strategy, impacting all areas of the company on a variety of subjects.
Requirements
- Prior experience or coursework in data modeling, requirements analysis, business analysis, data storytelling and visualization, preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, SQL and Power BI, required
- Knowledge of relational and multidimensional database designs, warehousing processes and designs, various business intelligence platforms, and software development technologies (Visual Studio preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and document enterprise business intelligence solutions that leverage common data architecture and data optimization approaches.
- Collaborate with and support business analysts throughout the enterprise on best practice analytics strategies and techniques.
- Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications based on findings for BI solutions and estimate effort needed.
- Test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and improve performance on business intelligence artifacts.
- Work with stakeholders to document user requirements for data, dashboards, and reports.
