Aecon Group Inc. is looking to solve infrastructure development problems in North America, specifically in the nuclear and conventional generation power plants sector, by hiring a Civil Engineering Intern to support their engineering team.
Requirements
- Completed 3 years of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from a 4-year ABET accredited college or university.
- Completed coursework in structural analysis, and/or construction engineering.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with graphical design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD
Responsibilities
- Assist with civil engineering assignments of limited to moderate complexity.
- Prepare civil / structural calculations, bill of materials (BOM), and basic engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Support plant data gathering and field walkdowns.
- Maintain detailed design document files.
