At Tradeweb, we’re constantly moving forward and innovating in the electronic trading market, and we need a JavaScript developer to contribute to our monorepo codebase and help build modern, complex and performant UIs and web services for clients to interact with our platform.
Requirements
- Knowledge of modern programming languages ideally with JavaScript or Typescript experience, either with a server-side runtime, like Node.js or through browser-based development
- A background or interest in web technologies including JavaScript, HTTP, WebSocket’s and other web APIs
- Experience with web modern frameworks and libraries like Angular, Next.JS and RXJS
- Typescript experience
- Node.js experience
- Browser-based development experience
- Experience with monorepo codebase
Responsibilities
- Working within a global team of developers building modern, complex and performant UIs and web services for clients to interact with our platform
- Contributing to our monorepo codebase writing Typescript using web modern frameworks and libraries like Angular, Next.JS and RXJS
- Ensuring a fast and reliable user experience through performance and testing
- Working with our technologists and business experts to gain practical, hands-on experience
- Collaborating with our creative thinkers who have the vision and the drive
- Getting involved with the products and services the firm is working on
- Building a long-lasting professional network and relationships with the intern class
Other
- In your final or penultimate year of an undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field at time of application
- Ability to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team
- Detail-oriented coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills
