Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks to help customers package, transport and display products of all kinds, and is looking for an Intern/Co-op to support this mission
Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with Artios, Auto Cad and 3D Rendering Programs
- Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Packaging Science/Engineering
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Experience with 3D rendering and modeling
- Knowledge of packaging design principles and materials
- Familiarity with packaging industry software and technologies
Responsibilities
- Working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word

- Design and development of packaging solutions
- Collaboration with internal and external customers to understand their needs
- Development of creative solutions to packaging problems
- Use of computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and prototype packaging solutions
- Analysis of packaging data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Other
- Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints
- Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills
- Must be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving
- Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change
- Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or Packaging Science/Engineering is required
