Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an intern to assist with compensation-related data analysis, reporting, and the exploration of AI applications within their Emerging Talent Programs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s Level preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with dashboard creation in Tableau.
  • Experience or interest in Python for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with foundational AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in cleaning, validating, and transforming compensation-related datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Use Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.) to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
  • Support data extraction and integration from Workday and other internal systems.
  • Help maintain compensation data repositories and ensure timely updates to key datasets.
  • Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Excel and/or Tableau.
  • Update recurring reports and contribute to the development of new visualizations to support compensation insights.
  • Conduct exploratory research on AI tools and techniques applicable to compensation analytics (e.g., Total Rewards-specific chatbot, job classification, automation).

Other

  • This Fall Internship is from September through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules)
  • all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location.
  • This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
