Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an intern to assist with compensation-related data analysis, reporting, and the exploration of AI applications within their Emerging Talent Programs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s Level preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with dashboard creation in Tableau.
- Experience or interest in Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with foundational AI and machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cleaning, validating, and transforming compensation-related datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Use Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.) to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
- Support data extraction and integration from Workday and other internal systems.
- Help maintain compensation data repositories and ensure timely updates to key datasets.
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Excel and/or Tableau.
- Update recurring reports and contribute to the development of new visualizations to support compensation insights.
- Conduct exploratory research on AI tools and techniques applicable to compensation analytics (e.g., Total Rewards-specific chatbot, job classification, automation).

- This Fall Internship is from September through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules)
- all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location.
