Skyworks is looking to solve issues related to semiconductor quality investigations by improving customer quality support through data analysis and efficient reporting.
Requirements
- Understanding of database management. (PowerBi, Sales Force)
- Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Solid understanding of statistical methods
- Ability to understand electronics schematics and diagrams.
- Basic understanding of automotive semiconductors quality.
Responsibilities
- Drive structured 8D analysis to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure sustainable improvements in semiconductor products.
- Analyze Quality Data and TrendsReview and interpret quality metrics, customer returns, and failure analysis reports to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and Maintain Reporting TemplatesCreate efficient and standardized templates to document investigation progress, corrective actions, and final resolutions for internal and customer-facing reports.
- Collaborate Cross-FunctionallyWork closely with design, manufacturing, and customer support teams to gather relevant data, validate findings, and align on corrective actions.
- Utilize Statistical and Analytical ToolsApply statistical methods and tools (e.g., Pareto analysis, fishbone diagrams, control charts) to support root cause analysis and validate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Support Quality Systems and DocumentationEnsure all investigation activities are properly documented in quality systems (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI), and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and standards.

- Currently enrolled in electrical engineering, pursuing a BS or MS degree
