Howmet Aerospace is looking to solve cybersecurity challenges through the Corporate Information Security team in Pittsburgh, PA
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Previous internship in Information Technology with a global employer
- Project experience with security tools or procedures
- Ability to manage projects and working within team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with SIEM, DLP, and EDR
- Familiarity with cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability management
Responsibilities
- Assist with digital investigation and forensic analysis
- Support maintenance of the company’s Data Protection Program
- Learn the industry standards, procedures, and technologies
- Review the logs and alerts for our security tools including SIEM, DLP, and EDR
- Interact with the other members of the Howmet Corporate Information Security team and learn the roles/responsibilities of all the team members
- Manage the removable media guidelines and support ongoing issues
- Work closely with the Ethics and Compliance team to review data loss protection policies and standards
Other
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation
- Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity
- Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
