Ryan is looking to build real-world machine learning solutions, specifically involving language models, experimentation, and decision intelligence systems, by hiring interns to contribute to their Data Science team.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills; familiarity with tools like pandas, NumPy, matplotlib
- Interest in natural language processing, experimentation, or decision systems
- Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Exposure to LLMs or prompt engineering
- Previous coursework or projects involving A/B testing or applied ML
Responsibilities
- Assist in prototyping and evaluating machine learning models, especially in NLP and large language models (LLMs)
- Support experiments and simulations for autonomous decision-making systems
- Prepare and analyze datasets for modeling and testing
- Help validate model performance through internal proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and contribute to code, documentation, and presentations
Other
- Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related study.
- Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship
- Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8
- Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and work well in a team
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and etc.
- Valid driver's license required.
