The Hanover is seeking exceptional college students for their Summer Internship Program to provide meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options in the Data and Analytics team.
Requirements
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Working towards Bachelors or Masters Degree
- Coursework in Data Science fundamentals
- Practical experience with R, and/or Python
- Familiar with database concepts (SQL, Data Management, and Documentation)
- ETL (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, etc.) experience is preferred
- Data modeling, data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
- Knowledge of pattern recognition techniques
- Data visualization
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate analytical support to team, ensures results are validated to ensure accuracy
- Participate in the development of innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential
- Perform tasks of a mathematical and quantitative nature using established procedures
- Assist in developing tools, processes and analysis in support of business growth and business needs
- Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work accomplished throughout the summer.
