Martin Marietta is looking for a Data Scientist Intern to join their Business Intelligence and Analytics team to assist in the development, maintenance, and support of advanced analytical, data science, and machine learning solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries and Jupyter notebook development
- Experience with any of the following BI/visualization tools: Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau
- Experience using AWS, Snowflake, and cloud-native tools
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing recommendations for AI/ML use cases or proofs of concept designs
- Conduct data exploration, extraction, cleansing, standardization, and wrangling to identify trends and correlations
- Support and maintain existing BI and ETL solutions, validation processes, and visualizations
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other quantitative fields
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
