3000 Pictures, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment, is looking for interns to support their development team in evaluating literary material and contributing to creative projects, aiming to develop emerging talent and provide real-world experience in the film industry.
Requirements
- Must be a strong reader who is able to evaluate scripts and books
- Familiarity with Mac/PC systems and Microsoft Office programs like Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Evaluating books/scripts and writing clear, concise coverage
- Contributing creatively to projects when helpful
- Support in day-to-day operations
- Potential phone coverage
- Other miscellaneous administrative tasks that might arise
Other
- Currently enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship
- Must be available to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week
- Able to take direction and ask clarifying questions when needed
- A passion for film and eagerness to learn, be helpful, and be proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to take initiative when appropriate
- Highly organized
