RYAM is looking for a Chemical Engineering college student for a 12-week full-time Process Engineer internship opportunity at their high purity cellulose mill in Fernandina Beach, Florida to assist in the design and development of electrical systems, conduct testing and simulations, and support senior engineers.
Requirements
- Majoring in Electrical Engineering
- Have a 3.0 GPA or better
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems
- Conduct testing and simulations of electrical systems under supervision
- Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks
- Help in preparing electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Participate in fieldwork to understand practical applications of electrical engineering
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all tasks and projects
- Assist in maintaining and updating inventory of electrical components and equipment
Other
- Currently enrolled in college
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Previous internship experience is preferred, but not required.
