Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an Intern to join their Verification team to work on developing next-generation storage controller SOC products. The role involves developing verification environments and AI tools to enhance verification productivity.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Verilog, System Verilog, with UVM as a career growth opportunity.
- Courses in digital design, computer architecture a must; Digital design projects using Verilog/System
- Good programming / scripting skills with languages such as TCL, Python and Perl
- Exposure to advances in Artificial Intelligence and how AI is applied to design and/or process improvement would be a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain testbenches using industry-standard verification languages (e.g., System Verilog, UVM).
- Analyze simulation results, identify issues, and collaborate with design engineers to resolve them.
- Contribute to the development of automated verification environments and scripts.
- Help design, implement, and integrate AI-based tools and workflows to enhance verification efficiency and productivity.
- Research and evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies applicable to ASIC verification.
- Participate in team meetings and technical reviews.
