Berkley Technology Services (BTS) is looking for an Enterprise Architecture intern to gain hands-on experience, receive on-the-job training, and deepen their understanding of business and technology in a real-world setting. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals, and develop practical skills.
Requirements
- Java experience required.
- Visio (or comparable tool) experience required.
- Prior internship, co-op, or on or off-campus technical experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Work on assigned projects that align with their academic background and team objectives. These may include software development/design, software upgrades, tool research, data analysis, or infrastructure support.
- Help with technical solution design reviews (and occasionally contribute to solution design), resolve review tickets, and respond to technical inquiries with a customer-service mindset.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, assist in testing and implementation, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to target architecture creation, including tool research, collaborating with different technical and business teams, and documenting interim and final states.
- Gain exposure to real-world IT environments, tools, and workflows.
Other
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- College Status: You must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to the field — or have recently graduated with a relevant degree.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), especially for working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Strong passion for technology.
- Participation in extracurricular or leadership activities.
