Volvo Group is looking to solve real-world environmental problems involving the remanufacturing of Volvo and Mack powertrain components, support environmental staff in developing initiatives to achieve global environmental targets, and identify sources of highest energy usage within the plant and propose solutions to reduce it.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in an Engineering program or other technical degree and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
- You have at least have a 2.75 GPA
Responsibilities
- Solve real-world environmental problems involving the remanufacturing of Volvo and Mack powertrain components.
- Support environmental staff in developing initiatives to achieve our global environmental targets.
- Assist management with review and revision of environmental procedures and work instructions.
- Assist with management of chemical container labeling.
- Support the development of an environmental auditing system.
- Identify sources of highest energy usage within the plant and propose
- Work to reduce Volvo Black/Gray listed chemicals.
