Pratt & Whitney is seeking talented college students to join their organization in an internship capacity to support the development of commercial and military turbine engines
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) (i.e. Airframe & Powerplant curriculum) at an FAA approved school and completed the General curriculum at a minimum.
- Currently enrolled in an Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program at a local college or university and posses either an Airframe or Powerplant rating.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
Responsibilities
- Engine disassembly/assembly: Assist in mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine sections and accessories.
- Clean: Assist in cleaning of engine parts and components.
- Assist with visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable. Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.

- 2nd Shift Schedule: 20.0 Hours Total
- Monday: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM
