The company is looking to develop and test firmware to optimize industrial operations, and needs interns to contribute to this process.
Requirements
Basic programming (C++, C-Sharp, Java, Python or JavaScript).
Basic knowledge of circuit theory and operation, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog and/or DC-power conversion, programmable devices (CPLDs, FPGAs).
Experience with Power Electronics or motors.
Experience with design capture tools.
Be able to work with schematic drawings.
Familiarity with tools such as CAD, Creoparametic, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), 3D Modeling, SAP, Matlab.
Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming.
Responsibilities
design and development of scripts for automating test procedures
documenting of test procedures
execution of test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated)
creation of test reports
assistance with lab audit/improvement activities
assist with build and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms
Other
Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university.
