Lanteris Space Systems is seeking an Engineering student to join their 2026 summer intern program in San Jose, CA to contribute to the development, production, and test of satellites
Requirements
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems / distributions
- Familiarity with the Python or JAVA or C++ programming language
- Exposure to electrical design technology, processes, and methodology
- Familiarity with software compilers and other software development tools
- Debugging and trouble-shooting skills
- Mathematical skills, particularly numerical analysis methods and linear algebra
Responsibilities
- Software simulation and emulation development engineering
- Hardware-in-the-loop testbed development engineering
Other
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with completion of 2 years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in computer, electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering , mathematics, physics, or related discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
