Landis+Gyr is seeking to investigate root causes of test system anomalies, analyze measurement and test system data to identify sources of erroneous results, and develop and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Willing to become familiar with equipment like oscilloscopes, network analyzers, DMMs, gauss meter, data acquisition devices, soldering irons, environmental chambers, and etc.
- Analog design and analysis experience.
- Participate in engineering development processes such as design reviews or DFMEAs.
- Evaluate prototype assemblies for integration into new products.
- Execute testing of energy storage solutions and assist in processing and analyzing data.
Responsibilities
- Root cause investigation into test system anomalies.
- Data analysis on measurement and test systems to identify source of erroneous results.
- Work with the team and vendor as needed to develop and implement a corrective action.
- Perform frequency analysis of the AFE (Revelo), analyze results, propose any circuit modifications to improve response and performance as it relates to accuracy.
- Create automated tests and data collection utilities
- Create Universal Test Socket for S-Base electricity meters
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to design and develop custom test equipment.

- Applicants must be undergraduate incoming Junior or Senior students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
