The Central Technology Team within Arm develops core innovations that forms the foundation of future products and is looking for a GPU Hardware Architecture Engineer to help shape the future direction of their world leading Mali Graphics products.
Requirements
- Proficient in computer architecture
- Clear understanding of GPU vs. CPU architecture trade-offs
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Knowledge of GPU architectures
- Understanding of the graphics pipeline and related computer graphics concepts
- Experience with graphics/compute APIs such as Vulkan, CUDA, etc.
- Experience with simulators like GEM5, GPGPUSim, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leading GPU architects to prototype architecture improvements
- Validate concepts and propose groundbreaking ideas that drive the future generation of GPU IP
- Work on and debug large codebases
- Develop and improve GPU hardware architecture
Other
- Currently enrolled and studying towards an Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science Degree (Masters or PhD students welcome)
- Excellent team working skills, self-motivated and results focused
- History of creative thinking and effective communication with a practical, organized and analytical approach to work
- Ability to work in a hybrid working environment
- Need to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement
