Arm is rapidly growing beyond IP and now delivers complete solutions, including synthesizable IP and silicon, to help partners accelerate product development. The company is looking for interns to contribute to the development of these solutions, specifically in SoC and IP Engineering.
Requirements
- Experience of block level RTL and verification for non-trivial ASIC (or FPGA) developments; SystemVerilog preferred
- Familiarity with Computer Architecture, the Arm AMBA specifications or other bus protocols
- Understanding of fundamental concepts of digital design and computer architecture to include one or more from CPU, GPU and cache concepts, memory, I/O, etc.
- Familiarity with AI models and tools
- Scripting, e.g. with Perl, Python, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop micro-architecture specs and implement RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Verify and Debug IP blocks to ensure quality
- Work with architecture, design, modeling, validation, and implementation teams to meet functional, performance, power, and area goals
- Collaborate across teams to define SoC specs, review test plans, and resolve sophisticated issues
- Leverage scripting and analytical problem-solving skills to enhance and streamline development methodologies

- Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments will be considered an asset.
