Forvis Mazars Healthcare is looking to provide in-depth, tailored solutions in many targeted areas, including academic medical center programs, Worksheet S-10 uncompensated care costs (UCC), Medicare bad debt recovery and reporting, Medicare and Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) services, geographic reclassifications, and UPL supplemental payment programs.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong excel skills
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university required: business, accounting, finance, analytics or healthcare administration preferred
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients on a variety of reimbursement consulting projects such as Medicare and Medicaid Disproportionate Share, Medicare Bad Debts, and Uncompensated Care Reporting
- Learning new internal software and platforms
- Demonstrating strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to compile and assess large data sets, while identifying potential data concerns or issues
- Learning and developing new technical knowledge specific to our consulting practice and the clients we serve
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with the health care practitioners in other service lines within the firm and maintain an understanding of the breadth of firm offerings
- Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
Other
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university required
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall) preferred
- Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
