Dexcom is looking to improve the reliability and performance of its software systems by developing automated testing frameworks and tools, primarily using Python-based solutions, to validate backend services and APIs.
Requirements
- You have experience or coursework in Python programming.
- You are familiar with backend technologies such as REST APIs, databases, or cloud services.
- You have familiarity with and the ability to utilize AI tools to accelerate and augment your day-to-day work—from generating tests and maintaining automated test suites to surfacing insights from bugs and data anomalies.
Responsibilities
- You will support Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) by contributing to backend test automation efforts.
- You will write and maintain Python scripts to validate APIs, services, and data pipelines.
- You have familiarity with and the ability to utilize AI tools to accelerate and augment your day-to-day work—from generating tests and maintaining automated test suites to surfacing insights from bugs and data anomalies.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure robust test design.

- Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
- Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
