Dexcom Corporation is looking to solve the problem of improving human health by developing innovative technology and personalized, actionable insights to empower people to take control of their health, with a focus on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and expanding beyond diabetes to address other important health challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with Python, ML, and generative AI libraries.
  • Strong CS fundamentals.
  • Experience developing cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with data engineering, modeling, and machine learning (ML).
  • Experience with the latest cloud computing platforms to create, deploy, and scale artificial intelligence (AI) systems and ML models.
  • Knowledge of ML ecosystem tools.
  • Experience with generative AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

  • You drive the design and implementation of AI/ML models, including experimental design, training, evaluation, writing reusable code, and preparing results for broader circulation.
  • You deploy applications using generative AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs).
  • You collaborate with other data scientists, architects, and software engineers to deploy and scale AI/ML applications.
  • You bring strong programming skills – including in Python, ML ecosystem tools, and generative AI – to the team.
  • You display excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex methodologies and analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You design, develop, and deploy new data products leveraging a variety of data sources.
  • You drive, own technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional and multi-platform capabilities.

Other

  • Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be a currently enrolled Master’s, JD, or PhD student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • 0-5% travel required.
  • Remote workplace with option for hybrid working environment if residing within commuting distance of a Dexcom site.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
