Supports and coordinates information technology security needs throughout the organization. Works with team members within IT to support software application and data needs.
Requirements
- interest in Information Technology and/or application development or databases or data mining.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Provides support and resolution for application issues that are escalated from the help desk.
- Assists with configuration and administration of a variety of software applications.
- Assist with database design, reporting and programming tasks of moderate complexity.
Other
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College sophomore or higher working toward a bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or other applicable business degree with interest in application development.
- Quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
- Work involves personal contact with others, primarily inside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.
