Ovintiv is seeking Information Technology Interns to support various projects within IT Operations, Cybersecurity, and Project Management, aiming to provide learning opportunities for students while contributing to the company's goals.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, computer information systems, business or other related technology programs.
- Analytical skills for problem determination and resolution.
- Creative, curious, and innovative mindset with a passion to learn and master modern technology.
Responsibilities
- assisting in various cloud-oriented projects
- assisting with documentation of designs, standards and testing procedures
- monitoring various applications and services
- troubleshooting software/hardware/network issues
- monitoring daily security issues and events generated by our security tools
- operating security technologies to protect our systems and information infrastructure
- conducting Information Security risk assessments for projects and on-demand requests
Other

- Positive attitude and eager to streamline and improve process and workflows.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and strong attention to detail.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2026.
