Kiewit Technology Group (KTG) is looking to hire an Intern for the summer to help deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. The team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations.
Requirements
- Awareness of database environments (MSSQLServer, Teradata, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake, etc)
- Awareness of distributed systems and big data storage formats (eg DataLake, HDFS, Spark, ORC, Avro, Parquet)
Responsibilities
- Creation of data pipelines to move data from source applications to BI Platforms (SQL server, Teradata EDW, Data Lake, Snowflake).
- Review Data Integration (ETL/ELT) requirements and design ETL following design pattern standards and SDLC procedures established by Kiewit Technology Group.
- Extract data from various source systems such as database systems, file systems and cloud-based systems (e.g. API acquisition)
- Tests, Documents and Schedules the ETL Integrations.
- Plays an integral part of an agile delivery team comprising of product owners, project managers/scrum masters, cross functional IT team members including other reporting team members.
