HellermannTyton is looking to support the development of various mechatronics systems by providing engineering experience through mechanical design, basic electronics prototyping, and software development, while maintaining certifications, corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
Requirements
- Preferred experience with SolidWorks or similar
Responsibilities
- Develop/build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, models, and any other means of conveying ideas
- Design and develop electromechanical devices or systems.
- Design, develop, or implement control circuits or algorithms for electromechanical devices or systems
- Support HT initiatives in I4.0, machine learning, and other advanced manufacturing areas.
- Support development from an electronics, hardware, firmware, and software perspective.
- Provide support to other product development markets, customer service, sales, production, quality assurance, and any other department which needs engineering expertise.
Other
- Enrolled in a mechanical engineering degree program with at least a sophomore status.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Undergoing and successfully completing a background check through the use of our 3rd party supplier.
- Background checks may include some or all of the following based on the nature of the position: SSN/SIN validation, education verification, employment verification, criminal check, driving history, and drug test.
