Requirements
- Experience in Optics/Optical Engineering
- Knowledge of Zemax
- Knowledge of MATLAB
- Optics specialization and lab experience
Responsibilities
- System and component first-order layout and detailed modeling (e.g. Zemax, MATLAB)
- Optical performance measurement in a laboratory setting
- Comparison between modeling and real-world data
- Summary of technical progress with slides and brief written reports
Other
- Must be a US citizen
- Pursuing degrees in Optics or Optical Engineering
- Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering may be acceptable with sufficient optics specialization and lab experience
