Lumen is looking to optimize assets and drive operational efficiency through strategic and tactical network planning. This involves developing long-range market-level plans, mid-range consolidation strategies, and detailed execution roadmaps. The team also manages program governance, resource planning, and change management to align with financial targets and transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with data visualization tools or techniques is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and mitigating risks, we enable sustainable growth and deliver measurable cost savings.
- Optimize Planning processes to improve efficiency
- Data aggregation and analysis to drive margin-improvement initiatives and actions, for leadership consumption
- Integrate new technologies, leveraging AI, to accelerate process and product transformation
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support Director and VP level initiatives

- Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program.
- Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026.
- This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US.
- US Work Authorization required for this role.
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
- Graduating August 2026 – May 2028
