Sony Pictures Entertainment is looking for an intern to support the Post Production team in managing the post-production process for Columbia/Tristar feature films, ensuring the highest quality look and sound.
Requirements
- Preferred interest in Editing/Sound/Color/Post & computer and technology literate
Responsibilities
- Learn how to create post production schedules
- Learn the dailies process
- Observe PIX, eCinema, and Aspera as it is strongly utilized on every show
- Assist with (actor re-recording lines) ADR scheduling and loop packets as well as attend a session if on lot
- Shadow Post Executives on their projects (assist with screenings, learn post schedules, observe and aid in creating purchase orders, help set up editorial & their offices, help wrap editorial teams, learn delivery of films, etc)

- Highly organized, resourceful and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented department
- Must be willing to take and follow directions as well as be flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision
- Common sense, dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required
- Must currently be enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship
