Micron Technology is looking to support its 300mm semiconductor processes and equipment at a state-of-the-art fabrication facility by hiring Engineering Interns to assist with various tasks and projects.
Requirements
- PC skills in Microsoft Office applications and JMP.
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments
- Proficient in one or more scripting, programming and visualization tools: Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, Microsoft Suite
- Advanced problem-solver – understanding of data, good data intuition and data visualization skills
- Experience or knowledge of data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing
- Hands-on experience in the field of data analytics, preferably with experience querying databases
- Ability to trouble shoot equipment
Responsibilities
- assist in product defect investigations
- maintenance of tools and processes for R & D experiments
- Working with fab tool automation systems and software while pursuing routine automation errors if they arise
- react to SPC data and investigate /correct causes for SPC notifications
- Creating Quality Deviation Reports or Engineering Change Notices
- take the initiative to move your assigned project forward to completion
- Training in our safety procedures and for the operations required for your assignment

- Junior Level Status in Chemical Engineering, Mech Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related Engineering Field.
- Must be a current student, must not graduate before September 2025.
