Moog is seeking an Intern, Product Engineering to support the assembly and test of electronic boxes on Military Aircrafts and contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university
- GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the assembly and test of electronic boxes on Military Aircrafts both at the Design Center and Production Center
- Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements (including assembly fixtures and tools)
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog, such as circuit card rework, work instruction creation, and assembly/test process development
- Provide technical support to engineers, as needed
- Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution
- Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals
- Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation
