Hitachi Rail is looking for an intern to support the Product Management team in various strategic and administrative tasks, aiming to enhance their understanding of the urban transit and mobility sector, and contribute to the company's mission of providing efficient, safe, and green transportation solutions.

- Has strong analytical skills.
- Possesses the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Finance experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Management team in budgeting, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasting.
- Support the Product Management team in market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
- Support Product Management team as they Partner with the Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product delivery and cost structure.
- Support Product Management team in developing go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Support Portfolio Management in maintaining the Standard Product and Application Portfolio Database, providing updated information on time
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business with a graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
- Has strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges, using a collaborative approach.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Has a curious mindset and a passion for innovation and staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the railroad industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
