North Atlantic Industries is looking to improve manufacturing efficiency and support compliance to industry standards by assisting the quality team with various activities.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Coursework, projects, or prior internship experience related to quality engineering or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exposure to statistical process control (SPC) or data analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Interface with production and engineering teams to help resolve quality issues.
- Assist the quality department with sorting and transacting defective material.
- Support failure analysis activities and help prepare reports under engineer supervision.
- Participate in failure review board (FRB) and process improvement projects.
- Interact with suppliers to support quality improvement and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in conducting industry-standard audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Help collect and organize quality-related data for analysis and reporting.
Other
- Enrolled in an Engineering or related program (such as Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering).
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with curiosity and desire to learn new technologies.
