Lumen is looking for a motivated Intern - Software Developer to join their development team to build and maintain web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Springboot java based services on the backend, gaining hands-on experience in full-stack JavaScript development.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and its frameworks (Vue.js and Node.js)
- Some exposure to Vue.js (including Vue Router and Vuex) for frontend development
- Familiarity with Node.js and backend frameworks like Express.js for building APIs
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Collaborate with the back-end developers in defining RESTful APIs
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services using HTTP and WebSocket protocols
Responsibilities
- build and maintain web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Springboot java based services on the backend
- get exposure to real-world projects, expand your skillset, and gain valuable insight into software development processes
- Collaborate with the back-end developers in defining RESTful APIs
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services using HTTP and WebSocket protocols
- Debug and troubleshoot issues using browser developer tools and logging frameworks

- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
- Graduating August 2026 – May 2028
- US Work Authorization required for this role.
