The company is looking to solve its tech modernization problem by hiring a software development engineer intern to assist in building and improving DevOps tooling and maintaining a production-first mindset.
Requirements
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling
- Experience with Agile practices
- Familiarity with data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services
- Ability to maintain a production-first mindset
- Knowledge of static scanning
- Familiarity with pipeline development
Responsibilities
- Assist with vulnerabilities remediation
- Assist with building/improvement of DevOps tooling
- Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues
- Invest in our Agile practice to continuously improve product quality, time to market
- Learn to develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services
- Complete the internship program final capstone presentation
Other
- Must be a student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Junior or Senior classification preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
- Flexible hybrid work environment, 2 days per week in office at our Arlington or Irving office
