KPMG is looking to solve software engineering challenges within their Tax Technology department by hiring interns to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
Strong understanding of programming languages such as C-Sharp, Angular, Typescript, SQL, Python
Foundational understanding of Azure (or other cloud) concepts
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, working closely with other team members to find solutions
Optimize software performance and maintainability through regular code refactoring
Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to your work

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent program
Upon completion of this internship candidates must have additional academic credits to complete before obtaining their degree and/or CPA eligibility requirements
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, quantitative skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation
Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
