Acxiom is looking to solve software development and maintenance problems by hiring an Intern Software Engineer to work alongside their experienced development team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and SQL.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Prior experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud data platforms is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team on software projects in Snowflake and Databricks environments.
- Write, test, and maintain code in Java and SQL.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings, providing clear and concise updates on your work.
- Learn and apply software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging issues across software systems.
Other
- Student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
